For farmers, ranchers, forest and large parcel landowners, road districts, neighborhoods, & individual homeowners who want to protect their land, increase soil health, conserve ground & surface water, and/or improve wildlife habitat.
Come have some refreshments and talk with people in the know!
5:00 pm: We’ll have a 20-minute presentation then be available to meet one-on-one to answer questions and help connect you with when and how to successfully apply for grants.
6:00 pm: We’ll have another 20-minute presentation then be available to meet one-on-one to answer questions and help connect you with when and how to successfully apply for grants.
Some of the opportunities we’ll be discussing include:
- Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) offered by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
- Community Wildfire Defense Grant (CWDG) offered by the US Forest Service.
- Oregon Department of Forestry grants.
- Deschutes County implementation of Oregon State Fire Marshal funding and Fuel Reduction Program
- Defensible Space Programs offered by the Upper Deschutes River Communities
